ABOUT ME

Kevin's life is characterized by constant movement and diverse experiences. Born at Kittery Naval Shipyard in Maine, he had a nomadic childhood traveling the eastern seaboard. At ten, he boarded a troop ship to Yokohama, Japan, carrying 4,000 Soldiers headed for the Vietnam War. This early life transition shaped his unique perspective and artistic vision.

His images frequently incorporate elements of societal reflections of human experience. Kevin’s photographic compositions are storylines intended to embody a minimalist aesthetic, characterized by their simplicity yet imbued with a compelling strength, forcefulness, and richness in both detail and color palette. While every individual photograph possesses an inherent strength to stand on its own, it is the collective assembly, like freeze-frame images on a film strip, that transcends the narrative beyond its mere physical structure.

LeDuc is an advisory member at the Maine Museum of Photographic Arts, Portland, Maine (2019-2024). His Notable exhibitions include Requiem for America, Book Project, Maine Museum of Photographic Arts, Portland, Maine, (upcoming); “Bass Harbor Rock No.01” and "Lighthouse Rock No.01 & No.02," Maine Art Gallery, Wiscasset, Maine (2024); The Staircase, An Exploration into the Fourth Dimension, Official Selection, International Photography Awards, Los Angeles, California (2022); Tip of The Spear, Maine Museum of Photographic Arts, Portland, Maine (2018); Bruce Cockburn, and Sarah McLachlan, Toronto Sound Image Exhibition, Analogue Gallery, Toronto, Canada (2019, 2018); Pizza Diplomacy, First Place, Editor’s Thirty-Year Review, November 1990 Edition, Portland Monthly Magazine, Portland, Maine (2014).
